acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Airguitr, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

user accounts

To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others

rental agreements

When renting a guitar through Airguitr:

• You enter into a direct agreement with the guitar owner (lister)
• You agree to treat the instrument with care and respect
• You are responsible for the guitar during the rental period
• You must return the guitar in the same condition as received
• Late returns may incur additional charges
• Damage or loss may result in charges for repair or replacement

listing guitars

As a lister, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your guitars
• Only list guitars you own or have permission to rent
• Ensure guitars are in safe, playable condition
• Honor confirmed bookings or face penalties
• Disclose any known defects or issues
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

payments and fees

Airguitr charges service fees for facilitating transactions. Payment processing is handled through Stripe. Renters pay upfront, and listers receive payment after successful rental completion. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy. All prices are in GBP (£).

prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent payment systems
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Interfere with platform functionality
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to scrape or copy platform data

disputes and resolution

Disputes between users should first be resolved directly. If resolution cannot be reached, Airguitr may provide mediation services at its discretion. Our dispute resolution process is designed to be fair to both parties. Final decisions are made based on evidence provided.

liability and disclaimers

Airguitr acts as a marketplace platform connecting renters and listers. We are not responsible for the condition, authenticity, or safety of listed guitars. We do not guarantee availability or quality of listings. Use of the platform is at your own risk. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

intellectual property

All content on Airguitr, including logos, design, text, and software, is owned by Airguitr or its licensors. User-generated content remains the property of users, but you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary for platform operations.

termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Certain obligations survive termination, including payment obligations and liability for prior conduct.

changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
